A. ASYMPTOMATIC EXPOSED PATIENTS

  1. if you:
    • have received your vaccination booster OR
    • have completed the primary Pfizer or Moderna vaccine w/in the last 6 months OR
    • completed the primary series of J&J vaccine within the last 2 months
  2. then:
    • you can return to PT if you:
      • wear a mask in our facility AND
      • test on day 5 after exposure (our suggestion)
    • DO NOT come in for your appointment if you have symptoms.

B. SYMPTOMATIC PATIENTS

  1. If you are vaccinated and have not been tested:
    • you can return to PT after:
      1. remission of symptoms AND
        • have a negative Covid-19 test OR
      2. after 5 days from the beginning of symptoms AND
        • have well-resolved symptoms
  2. if you are unvaccinated and have not been tested:
    • you can return to PT after:
      1. remission of symptoms AND
        • a negative Covid-19 test OR
      2. after 7 days AND
        • resolving symptoms

C. POSITIVE TESTED PATIENTS

  1. if you have tested positive:
    1. you cannot return earlier than 7 days following a positive Covid-19 test AND
    2. you can return if you have
      • resolving symptoms AND
      • you have not had a fever for greater than 72 hours.

The health and safety of our patients and employees are our top priority!  We want to be transparent on the steps we are taking to ensure all safety measures are taken.

We are remaining diligent and consistent with updating our policies according to our state guidelines for healthcare professionals. Below is a layout of the steps we take daily to ensure a healthy workplace for you and our staff.

Employee Screening

• Wear a Face mask: surgical and N95 masks depending on direct patient contact
• Gloves: as needed
• Social Distance of our patients
• Disinfect and Clean: before and after all patient contact as well as any contact with potentially infectious material.
• Hand-hygiene: utilize 70-95% hand sanitizer or soap and water for 20 seconds before, after and during patient contact.

Patient Screening

• Traveled and stayed or relocated from another state out of New England?
• Been diagnosed with Covid-19?
• Have had close or prolonged contact with an individual diagnosed with Covid-19?
• Developed signs of Covid-19 or flu like symptoms such as: cough, runny nose, fever, chills, chest pain, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste, loss of smell, body aches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea?
• Been in close and prolonged contact with an individual under quarantine or who has tested positive for Covid-19 virus?
