Amy K. MPT
Physical Therapist
Amy is a New Hampshire native through and through! She was born and raised in Milford, NH, and went on to receive her Bachelor’s in Biology and Master’s in physical therapy at Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH. She has practiced for over 20 years as a therapist, but her desire to become a physical therapist stemmed from first being a patient after experiencing a knee surgery in high school. Her injury, and more importantly, her healing journey in physical therapy, ignited her passion to truly help others help themselves.
Amy has practiced in a variety of settings, but her love is outpatient orthopedics. She has experience treating almost all orthopedic conditions, but also has specific experience treating patients with neurologic conditions, balance disorders, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Amy also loves a wholistic approach to wellness, and this belief fueled her completion of the IHELP certification, a 7 month speciality training through the Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine focusing on assessing and treating all areas affecting one’s wellness (sleep, nutrition, and stress for example). Amy holds sacred a belief that proper and effective care involves looking at a patient as a whole person, in their entirety, to understand dysfunction.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, trialing new fitness routines, decorating for all occasions, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
