Physical Therapist Assistant

Chris has been a PTA for since 2015 after graduating of River Valley Community College here in Claremont, New Hampshire where he earned both a PTA and OTA degrees. He started his working life in very different careers, carpentry and retail management. Though they seem unrelated he feels they were excellent training for learning to communicate well with people.

Though he came to this career a little later in life, he knows he has found a profession he loves.
“As someone who has been the patient on the mat, I feel I have a good understanding of not only the physical challenges of therapy but how it can affect us mentally and emotionally.”

Chris is married to his wife, Luann, for 35 years and has two adult daughters as well as 3 small grandchildren and, he’d be the first to admit, he can’t get enough of them. In his free time, when not gaming with his 6 year old grandson, he enjoys golf, cards, reading, and cruising with his wife.
