Ian L. PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Ian grew up in central Massachusetts and recently settled in Derry with his family. He earned a BS in Physics from Bridgewater State University in 2007 and later went on to earn his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Baystate College in Boston in 2013. Ian has gathered a wealth of knowledge over the past ten years of practicing orthopedics and sports medicine in the outpatient setting, in part through working alongside highly trained therapists, many of which were fellowship-trained.

Other specific post-graduate work that he has participated in includes attending conferences hosted by Harvard Sports Medicine and New England Baptist Hospital and official course work on kinesiology taping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, manual techniques, post-operative management, and blood flow restriction training.

Ian is excited about treating and giving back to the community in which he lives and meeting patients where they are to help them achieve their goals. During his free time, Ian enjoys mountain biking, trail running, and hiking in the White Mountains. When he can’t venture far from home, most of his free time is spent doing yard work and building his own trails behind his house.
