Renee N. PT, DPT, CMTPT
Physical Therapist
Renee Nickerson grew up in Laconia, NH and has lived here most of her life. She graduated from Franklin Pierce University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2017. She spent her early career learning various skills and techniques such as trigger point dry needling, myofascial cupping, spinal manipulations, and vestibular therapy.
In 2020, she began her journey in learning and treating pelvic floor dysfunction through the Herman and Wallace program. This launched her passion for treating a variety of pelvic conditions, treatment after pelvic and abdominal surgeries, and helping women rehab their body after having children. She believes that the body functions as a whole and works to assess how the various components of the human body work together. Her excitement for working with this population has only grown over the years and recently she was able to attend the yearly pelvic floor conference, PelviCon, to further expand her knowledge and connections.
She has a drive to help her patients feel stronger and more empowered by teaching them how to manage their pain and symptoms, and to gain independence and confidence in their abilities to return to what makes them happy. She strives to help patients learn how to advocate for themselves and their needs, find strategies to adapt to new challenges, and how to build long term lifestyle habits.
Outside of work, she lives with her husband and 2 cats. She enjoys a variety of hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, cooking, and has recently been an avid enthusiast of TTRPGs such as Dungeons and Dragons.
